When we travel, my husband and I tend to let our “geeky” sides take over. It doesn’t matter if we’re visiting the local mall, taking a day trip, or traveling to another continent, we end in book stores. On our recent trip to London, we tried to limit our literary purchases. Books are heavy and we were backpacking, so we couldn’t get too carried away.
Since we were in the UK, we tried to focus on finding books we hadn’t seen in the US, particularly by British authors (and even managed to get one copy signed by the author!). We came up with a pretty decent haul, despite our self-restraint.
