My 30 day art improvement hell challenge is turning into more of a two month challenge… For day 14, the assignment was to draw a scene from either a worm’s eye view or a bird’s eye view. I’ve tried the bird’s eye thing before, so I figured I would try a worm eye view this time. This was a good practice in foreshortening, or portraying an object as closer or farther away as an effect of perspective.
A good excuse to draw a dragon, from a wyrm’s eye view! For the artists out there, any advice on foreshortening?
