In August, my husband and I took a mini-vacation up to Mackinac Island, located on Lake Huron for those of you not familiar with the area. It’s a bit of a hike from where we live, so we took some time for site-seeing along the way. One of the locations we stopped was the Cut Rive Bridge in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The bridge is beautiful from an architectural standpoint, clean stonework and impressive green girders to support the main bridge structure.
And what a wonderful way to surround yourself with nature than a visit to our northern forests 🙂
The view of Lake Michigan isn’t bad either…
